We’ve already gone green and have a filtration system, why should we use a bottleless water cooler?

Filter systems are usually not much better than drinking tap water and, in many cases, worse. Onesource Water does not use a filtration system – our water dispensers use REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO), which purifies water, as opposed to simply filtering it. Our water purification coolers use the latest and most effective water purification technology in the world, producing water that is 99.9% pure of any contaminants.

What is the difference between a Onesource Water purification system and a filtration system?

Filter systems are capable of removing chlorine but do not remove much else from our drinking water. After a short time, the filter absorbs so many impurities that it is no longer able to function properly. Our water purification cooler uses Reverse Osmosis (RO) in addition to filters, which produces an ‘out’ drain that removes all impurities from the cooler.

If the Onesource Water system uses tap water, isn’t bottled water better because it is purified?

Bottled water is far from pure – studies have shown that it often has more bacteria and sediment than tap water. The water sits in plastic bottles for weeks or months before being put into a cooler. Our water is “freshly squeezed”: we draw it from your water line and purify it on the spot.

How can I tell if my water is always being purified?

The brain of our cooler is a microprocessor chip that continuously measures the performance of the filters and monitors the quality and purity of the water. If the integrity of your water is compromised at any point, the digital panel of the cooler will alert you to initiate a service call.

Do Onesource Water bottleless water coolers provide hot water?

Yes. Our dispenser provides water that is near boiling. Customers love this feature for making coffee, tea, a cup of soup or a warm bowl of oatmeal.

How is the price determined?

The monthly fee will vary slightly according to the consumption needs for your office. In general our water is less expensive per gallon than bottled water.

Troubleshooting:

Red service light

If the bottleless water cooler is disturbed in any way, it will automatically turn off the water and display the message “tank overfill.” To reset, simply unplug and plug it back in.

No water

If you have consumed all of the purified water in the reserve tank, allow the system 10 minutes to process and refill the reserve tank.

No hot water

First, make sure you are pressing both red buttons at the same time (this is a safety feature). Then, check the switch on the back left side of the machine to make sure it’s in the “on” position. Allow the system about 20 minutes to fill. The hot tank needs the main tank to be at least 1/2 full before it can produce hot water.

Water on the front

All systems have a drip tray, but they are not a drain. If it fills up, the system will detect a leak. Simply empty the drip tray.

Filter service light is on

Unlike other inferior systems, our bottleless water cooler is monitoring water quality 24 hours a day, so, if a service light comes on, it means it needs service soon. It is safe to drink, but you will need to fill out the form above to contact us for a service request.
